Social Media Reality
I could get on my soapbox about all of the negative ways that social media can harm not just the one posting, but the one reading the posts. The comparisons. The competition. The false realities. The lack of true, person-to-person communication that it leads to. The jealousy. The hurt feelings and misunderstandings. The selfish, show-and-tell mentality. But let’s just start with the above information. Let’s be careful how social media is used. Let’s be mindful of the motivations and intentions behind it. It can occasionally be a blessing and a good tool if used the right way. Or it can lead to millions of addictions—and mental health issues.
